Born in Southern California, raised in the Northern Bay Area, as a kid, Aaron Hundley always knew he would write a book. He sporadically wrote stories, songs and poems, though in secret. Most of his early work was either destroyed or lived in his imagination as he set his attention on sports and college. While his participation in college sports was brief, he went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree from California State University, Sacramento. He then bounced around careers, from the police academy to corporate sales, which only confirmed his deep suspicion that something was missing. Hundley then returned to school to receive his Masters in Sport Administration and landed a position as a college instructor and football coach. Yet, by 2013 he “got a call from home.” The words began to pour. As he went on to publish poems and stories on P.S. I Love You (Now closed) and eventually self-published his poetry chapbook Intermissions at the end of 2021. He now resides in Oakland, California with his partner and their two sons.
